Welcome aboard Canyon Lady II with Capt. Dave P and join my many customers who have had the “Best trips of their Life”. I offer full-day charters and open boat trips for up to 6 anglers. Every trip is customized to take advantage of what’s running, where they’re biting, and how you want to catch them. Having a great day on the water is what I’m about.
If you’re a novice we’ll spend the time you need to show you how. I provide everything needed for the fishing style we’re doing. From jigging tackle to electric reels for tile fish all equipment is included. You just need to bring your food and drink.

About Us
Capt. Dave P. has held a Coast Guard master’s license since 1988. He’s fished Long Island’s south shore since he was 12.
Canyon Lady II is equipped for comfort and speed. The 840-horsepower twin-turbo diesel gets us to the fishing grounds quickly, reliably, and safely. The boat is equipped with the latest navigation, fish-finding, and safety electronics.
If you would like a place to relax, our air-conditioned cabin has a place to sit or lie down. There’s a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, Dinette seating, and an immaculate bathroom with hot and cold running water. Join us and benefit from my decades of experience.
Safety is paramount! In the unlikely event that there is an unfortunate issue, life vests for all, an Offshore life raft, Epirb, a satellite texting device, and radios with emergency broadcasting capabilities are onboard.

Local Reef and Wreck Family Trips (Trip 1)
Inshore Trip full charter only. $1,200.00 Full Boat up to 6.
Local Reef and Wreck. Family, Friends, or businesses. Trips up to 20 miles offshore.
Includes Blackfish, Black Sea Bass, Fluke, Porgy, mackerel, and any combination in season. All bait and tackle included.
You just need your food and drink and a good attitude!
"I Have No Time" Canyon Deep Drop Tile Trip (Trip 2)
$650 per person for a 17-hour trip, limited to 5 anglers, focusing on deep drop tile fishing.
“I have no Time” Canyon Deep Drop Tile Trip. 17-hour trip. Leave the dock at 2 am, and return at 7 pm on the same day.
It is designed for people who don’t have the two or more days required for these trips on the Big Boats. These trips are Limited to 5 anglers to provide 1-on-1 attention and more space. We provide full Tutorials on the Canyon Lady II system of success. Each person “limiting out” is typical.
If you have equipment, that would be great, and if not, you may want to try different tackles before you buy. We supply what you need. We’ve been tile fishing for years.

Tuna Chunking and Bait Fishing Trip (Trip #3)
$650 – $725 per person for targeting Tuna on the tile grounds, additional cost for bait.
Another ‘I Have No Time” trip. At certain times of the year, Tuna are present on the tile grounds and can be caught by Chunking, bait fishing or jigging.
The extra cost is for the flats of Butterfish, Sardines, Herring and Mackerel for the trip. You can also opt to target only Tuna.
Tuna Trolling (Trip #4)
$675 per person for Tuna trolling, extra charges for fuel, and special trolling baits.
Tuna Trolling can be added to any “I Have no Time “trip. This trip can also focus on Just trolling. I constantly track tuna and the methods by which they are caught.
The additional charges are for the extra fuel and special trolling baits like Ballyhoo. If this interests you, call us, and we’ll talk about timing. I’ll let you know how productive it’s been.
Tile - Mahi Mahi Combo (Trip #5)
$650 – $675 per person for Gulf Stream Mahi fishing; switch to light spinning tackle if desired.
Identical to Trip 2. In late July and August, the Gulf Stream water brings Mahi in. After limiting ourselves to tiles, we switch to light spinning tackle and “Pot hop” for Mahi Mahi. There is no additional charge for this.
Near Shore Bluefin/Yellowfin Tuna (Trip #6)
$550 per person for trolling, jigging, and chunk/bait fishing, typically available from June onward.
Near Shore Bluefin / Yellowfin Tuna. Trolling, jigging, and chunk/bait fishing are appropriate. Everything needed to fish is supplied. Leave 2 am to be on the bite at Sun-up.
Charter keeps all fish.
